Plan 3-4 hours for two museums and a walk. A fuller programme with several museums, the park and memorial sites can take most of a day.
The nearest metro station is Dworzec Gdanski (M1), about a 10–15 minute walk away. Buses 116, 157, 178 and 503 stop at “Cytadela”, and trams reach the Zoliborz area around Plac Wilsona.

Yes. The newer museums (including the Polish History Museum) have café facilities, and the surrounding Zoliborz district — around Plac Wilsona — offers more cafés and restaurants.
Much of the grounds is accessible, and the Zoliborz Gate (closest to the metro) is step-free. Some historic spaces, such as the Tenth Pavilion cells, have architectural limitations.
Most permanent exhibitions allow photography for private use, usually without flash or a tripod. Some temporary exhibitions do not allow photos.
