Cookies and local storage

Google AdSense and Analytics tags are currently disabled, so the site does not load Google ads or measurement. When AdSense is enabled, Google and its partners may store and read cookies and device identifiers to serve and measure ads and prevent abuse; Google is the controller of data processed for advertising. In the European Economic Area, personalised ads require the user’s consent.

The site currently makes an Adsterra Native Banner available only after the user gives separate consent. When enabled, the external ad network may process an IP address, device information, identifiers and ad interaction data to deliver and measure advertising and prevent abuse.

The ad runs on a separate origin in an isolated iframe with no permission to open popups, submit forms or access the portal’s DOM or storage. Only a deliberate ad click may open the advertiser’s page in the current tab. The choice is stored only in the portal’s local storage under cyt-adsterra-consent-v1 and can be changed below. The operator provides details in its privacy policy and cookies policy.

When enabled, Google Analytics (GA4) is used to analyse site usage in aggregate and improve the content, not to identify individuals. The tool may store cookies and identifiers, and the data is processed by Google.

While Google tags are active, analytics runs in Google Consent Mode and choices are managed by a certified IAB TCF CMP. Consent signals default to denied until a decision is recorded. Settings can be reopened with the “Privacy and cookie settings” link in the footer.

Your choice of the light or dark theme is saved in the browser’s local storage (localStorage), not in a cookie — purely to remember your preference between visits. That information is not linked to your identity or sent to our server; you can remove it by clearing the site data in your browser.
